The Lalique Hotel & Restaurant at Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, France

Back

The main building, dating from the 17th century, accommodates a first dining room, with subdued lighting, that opens onto the kitchen, then a second that is integrated harmoniously into the serene surroundings of the vineyard. The restaurant, which has forty covers, reveals splendours of its own: the ceiling is decorated with 120 Champs-Élysées leaves in gold-lustre crystal, with fittings representing other emblematic Lalique creations. As at Villa René Lalique at Wingen-sur-Moder – the hotel-restaurant awarded two Michelin stars in January 2016 – the table decoration is enhanced by Lalique refinements; a thousand delicate adornments combine in a symphony of crystal, porcelain and choice flowers.
