In March 2019, G&M Design Gallery had the great honour of presenting the exhibition Line of Sight, featuring three very diverse artists – Howard Tangye, Johan Van Mullem, and Owen Perry.
As an illustrator and Head of Womenswear at the world-famous St. Martin’s College in London, Howard Tangye is one of the most respected figures in the world of fashion. This exhibition featured his modern designs, presented in a classic Renaissance style.
Johan Van Mullem is a Belgian painter and sculptor, best known for depicting faces and figures. His works are dream-like and ephemeral, exploring the concepts of colour, light, form and movement.
Canadian photographer Owen Perry specialises in landscapes. His favourite tool is his digital camera, but he uses the editing techniques of traditional film photography, in which light and colour play a key role in bringing his works to life.
